ARNOLD SPORTS FESTIVAL EUROPE

Created in 1989 by Arnold Schwarzenegger and James J. Lorimer, in Columbus (Ohio; USA); The Arnold Classic quickly became an iconic competition for Bodybuilding and Fitness within the IFBB, bringing every year the best professional athletes in the world.

The event grew by leaps and in 1993 became into the Arnold Sports Festival, incorporating new sports modalities that did not keep on increasing. From hands of the IFBB president, Dr. Rafael Santonja, the Arnold Sports Festival grew even more, opening up to amateur athletes from the five continents and making the leap to Europe, in 2011; when Madrid became the venue for the first edition in the Old Continent.

Since then, the European version has established itself in Spain as a continental reference for thousands of athletes, after five years in Madrid and another five in Barcelona; before moving to Seville this year where the event will start, through its General Manager, Mrs. Nieves López Cillanueva, a new and successful stage.
