WEIGHTLIFTING

Weightlifting is an Olympic sport that consists in lifting the maximum weight from the ground to the top of the head with the arms extended. The discipline has two modalities: Snatch and Clean & Jerk.

This sport requires and develops physical abilities such as strength, speed, flexibility or agility, at the same time that it requires key personal skills: attention, concentration or strategy in the competition.

Because it is a complete training, weightlifting has become the basis of the physical preparation of most elite athletes and should be part of the training programs of any athlete.
